As everyone knows by now, a US Airways plane made an emergency landing in the Hudson River.  It is, in and of itself, an amazing story.

Anyway, there I was, watching the evening news - ABC, I think - and, aside from a report on more fighting in Gaza, the entire 30 minutes was positive.  Even the end-of-broadcast tear-jerker was especially sweet, about a teen marching band made up of former abuse victims who will be marching in a presidential inauguration parade next week.

Now, while I don't have anything Earth-shattering to say about this, it struck me as such a wonderful news day, I had to share it.
