Of Voting Booths and Race

Interesting New York Times article about race and the presidential election.  Adam Nagourney puts in writing something I've been saying for some time.  But he gets credit because he wrote it first...

I thought I wrote it, but I can't seem to find it in previous postings. The idea is that Obama's popularity may not translate to election day because race still plays a role in how Americans think.  And, just because someone says he will vote for Obama, he may not necessarily pull the lever for him.
